A note about "Search Engine Optimization"
It is not my intent, with this article, to bash anyone. As mentioned below, I use the term "search engine optimization" myself. On the other hand, it is my intent to state the, perhaps, not-so-obvious to those millions who have fallen prey to almighty convenience. One word cannot convey every meaning: every initialization or abreviation is not an acronym; everything is not a solution; and "SEO" is not all encompassing. Illiteracy is a deep rut which we will not climb out of until the online community learns to think for themselves!
I'd like to let you in on a well-known secret in the "SEO" industry. You should read this especially if you are new to having a website online, or having your site's pages optimized for search engine results.
'Search engine optimization' is better worded 'webpage optimization', for no search engine optimizer can optimize a search engine. It is a poorly worded term in that it can be misleading to business owners (and non-business owners) new to having their websites online.
